My husband and I rented a condo from Mesquite, including a refundable $300 deposit. After being home for a month after our rental time, our deposit check arrived. When I deposited it in my bank, it was returned to me for insufficient funds. I called Mesquite to be told they were having some financial problems, but would be sending a new check imminently. My bank charged me $19 for their bounced check. I have called repeatedly since that time and have continually been told they had already mailed the replacement. After several weeks I was told that they had the wrong address for me. I corrected it although I don't believe that was true. That was early in May. The most recent call was on May 27, when I was again told that the check had been mailed. Today is May 30; no check arrived. I have talked with two men at the agency - Steve, who rudely hung up on me, and Brian, who continually tells me the check has been mailed. Obviously this is not a reputable business and I would warn anyone against doing business with them.
Cons: No amount of pros can make up for the cons.
