Like the other reviewer, we reserved a week in advance, but the snotty Eurotrash maitre d tried to seat us in the bar and only relented after we got very loud with him. The wine list is ridiculous, a few Safeway wines marked up to $50, or else French wines for the expense-account set ($400 magnums). The food is completely uninspired; nearly everything is slathered in butter and cream. The crowd runs from old to very old, with a few obnoxious, golf-shirted business types thrown in. Definitely to be avoided.

Cons: Obnoxious service, Hideous decor, Uninspired food

We made a reservation a week ahead for a special occasion. We were seated at a table next to the bar and then one of our entrees was a very undercooked pork dish. The waiter did not return after the dish was cooked again - the dish was still very undercooked. The waiter didn't seem concerned about correcting the error, nor did anyone offer to make it right. The manager only said our waiter was one of her best and that she was sorry. Our bill was still over $100 for a very poor experience.

Dining at Jillian's is a sensational experience. The restaurant is situated in a twinkling hacienda. Upon stepping through the door, the guest is treated to the mouth watering aroma of fresh bread. The menu offers a variety of options. Whether fish or beef, the portions are generous and the cuisine divine! The combination of flavors, textures, and colors gracing one's plate are complimentary. It is truly a challenge to save room for dessert, but it is essential! The apple dumpling, hawaiian cheesecake, and raspberry creme brulee are all delicious. The service is exceptional! The tab for dinner is accompanied by the final treat....a plate of chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, and dried fruit!

Pros: Cuisine, Service, Ambience

Cons: Pricey
