Easiest mortgage I've ever obtained was through Contemporary Lending Group in Palm Springs.

I had ok credit I thought. Contemporary Lending Group said it was good but they wanted to help clean up some items so I could get a better rate. They then worked with the credit agencies to get the items off the record. I've never had any mortgage broker do that for me in the past. The other ones only seem to care if they can get you the loan so they can make their commission. If your looking for a loan, I give them the highest rating.
Pros: They care about getting you the best rate and keeping you informed.
Cons: They don't do cable or cell phone service.
