The new location of The Ultimate Point at 46600 Washington, La Quinta near Trader Joe's is great! The shop is bigger and brighter with lots more yarns and samples. Friendly people. Lots of fun

Whether you prefer to knit or crochet, THE ULTIMATE POINT in La Quinte Old Town is Yarn Heaven. A banquet of colors and textures surround the positive energy of all inside the shop. The selection and ambiance are THE BEST IN THE VALLEY! Customers are welcome to brouse the many unique yarns, projects and books, to knit, and visit. Staff is friendly, helpful and supportive. Assistance and advice are dispensed with sincerity. Best of all, there is no negative gossip at the knitting table. The Ultimate Point is a wonderful place to find an exciting yarn project and, if you care to linger, make new friends.
Pros: High quality yarns fairly priced, great ambiance and service, plenty of free parking. Help Available.
Cons: a small shop with only a few finished samples on view
