I stayed here last October and still think about how cute this place was. Very mod, and you can tell this place is trying hard to play ball with some of the bigger hotels. They were doing a bit of construction when we were there but the staff is very gracious and friendly, so the minute we complained about the noise, it mysteriously stopped. a few bones to pick, not too big though - there is NO soundproofing in the suites. we could hear every single footstep from the suite above us, and the kids there screaming and the tv blaring - it was a bit like a circus. the rooms are across each other with only about 15 feet of grass (like a courtyard style apartment), and the jacuzzi was literally underneath our first floor window - the guys who sat and yacked until 1 am definitely kept us up. so the sound proofing was definitely an issue. other issues - the "cable" tv channels were a joke (about 8 channels total), and parking is a total gamble. if you don't score one of 6 spots in front or 10 on the side, you'll be parking in a dirt lot across the street. this being said, my trip was for pure relaxation, and i was pretty pleased with the rest of my experience here. the pool and jacuzzi areas are charming, the bed was great, and the full kitchen was a luxury - and the price was a steal, most importantly. i'd recommend requesting a 2nd story suite or one that has no unit above it. and yes - this is a pet-friendly hotel!

Cons: needs better sound-proofing and more parking
