Editorial Review for Costco – by Saira Masood
In Short
Formerly known as the Price Club, this large membership-only warehouse is chock-full of almost any consumer product under the sun-in bulk, of course. With goods ranging from high-end electronics to outdoor furniture to fresh lobster, this wholesale superstore has got it (lots and lots of it!). While the high-volume and low prices appeals mainly to families and business, it's not uncommon to find college students trolling the various aisles for free food samples. The various membership options offer a range of plans, all reasonably priced. A word of warning to shopaholics: If you leave home without a list, you might spend more than you bargained for with all the deals offered.

Costco offers very little in the way of value any more, because other stores are actively competing against them. The price of their products, when you take size or number into account, can often be more expensive then their competition. Even if not, the membership fee will offset any advantage on their slightly lower prices. The store is less crowded at checkout then other Costcos, but you will still be waiting in line for some time, at the few registers that are opened. Expect average to mediore customer service like most Costcos. I've found nothing extraordinatry to keep me as a member of this chain.

It is an "A Typical" costco store but the beauty to this particular store is that it is a less crowded one! Things do run cheaper for Costco members but other stores are also quite near by without membership, ie walmart., target etc.
Pros: not as crowded in this particular store
Cons: parking, fee for membership
