Catering to a successful crop of vacationing gays in their late-twenties and up, East Canyon provides an equal mix of tropical romance, decadent relaxation and out-and-out playfulness. Double-wide bathrooms, Italian linen-clad beds, cotton waffle robes, complimentary chocolate chip cookies and frosty air-conditioners make rooms themselves a pleasant escape. The pool and semi-secluded spa, however, are the true draw. Visitors spend hours relaxing--and mingling--in the shade of umbrellas or sunbathing in the pool on a variety of foamy blue rafts. For added pampering, on-site massages, facials and bodywraps are also available.

I have been to East Canyon at least a half dozen times in the last couple years. The place is the perfect weekend getaway from LA. Richard, the owner is amazing and Grady is one of the best therapists I have had in Palm Springs. The great thing about it is the place is always clean, warm and friendly and the clientele is not the partying type, so you dont have to worry about an impromptu circuit party ruining your relaxing weekend.
