There are very few restaraunts left in this country that offer home cooking (comfort food) without all the frills, friendly service, and quality that you can count on not to change. Kaiser's Bar and Grill is one of those rare places. It is a desert landmark, and with so much that has changed in this valley, it's nice to know there are a few things that still harken back to what the desert and the rest of America used to be. If you visit Palm Springs, your visit will not be authentic or memorable without a stop at the Kaiser. Enjoy
Pros: You have to take the time to relax and enjoy this gem, don't go if you're in a hurry, go to McDonald's
Cons: There are no cons, except that it is usually busy, because it's so well loved.

Very nice looking restaurant with a really good menu, excellent service and reasonable prices. Four of us went to dinner at Kaiser and we each had different appetizers and entrees, and everyone was very pleased with their meal. The prime rib was delicious and perfectly cooked. The sesame crusted seared ahi, served with Wasabi mustard was also perfect. I would highly recommend either the chocolate mouse cake or the caramel turtle brownie with vanilla bean ice cream. Both deserts were excellent. Overall, a great dinner experience.
