The Scene
Inspired by the resorts of the Mediterranean and dramatically designed to resemble a huge emerald gemstone set into the desert, this enormous property is home to the largest swimming pool in the region. Reasonably priced accommodations are surrounded by golf courses and tropical plants that have transformed this otherwise barren setting into an attractive oasis.

Spacious guest rooms feature generous private balconies with views of the surrounding mountains and Ted Robinson-designed links. The three swimming pool complex is the resort's epicenter---one has a sandy, sea-like entrance, one has a twenty-foot high waterfall and lively Pool Bar, and the third is a shallow wading pool for children.
